Glowing skin doesn't happen overnight...but realistically it can happen over a month with the help of the naturally effective, vegan Biotulin faceLIFT 4-Week Ampoule Facial Kit – read on to find out how and why...
Before You Begin Your Biotulin faceLIFT...
Gently Cleanse & Exfoliate
While the concentrated Biotulin faceLIFT Ampoules can improve skin on their own, you will get so much more from the ampoules – and in fact all your skincare products! – if you regularly exfoliate your skin.
Skincare ingredients can absorb up to 70% better into freshly exfoliated skin.
Therefore, weekly exfoliation is part of an effective skincare routine. It helps remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and stimulate circulation to improve skin tone, texture and brightness. So in case an exfoliation isn't already part of your weekly skincare routine, try KOSHO Multi-Effect Peeling – especially before starting with application of Biotulin faceLIFT Ampoules...
Week 1: Detox
During week one of your Biotulin faceLIFT "glow up", vegan ingredients including aloe vera, green tea and carnosine detox the skin and protect it from environmental influences such as air pollution and other allergens that can accumulate through the skin.
While carnosine sounds a bit scary, it is actually just a synthetic version of the natural carnosine found in the body where it functions as a protein building block. Topically applied, carnosine has skin-soothing and antioxidant properties that allow it to protect against oxidative stress and perform anti-ageing capabilities. The ingredients act like a protective film on the skin.
Week 2: Deep Hydration
Week two ampoules include vegan, short- and long-chain hyaluronic acid, proteins, acetyl hexapeptide 8 and Panthenol. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of the connective tissue between the skin cells, filling and supporting it. It binds large amounts of water, so it is partly responsible for the moisture content and keeps your skin firm.
Panthenol (aka pro-vitamin B5 – as in "Pantene Pro-V"...) is also a humectant (water-binding ingredient). When applied topically to the skin, it becomes pantothenic acid, which naturally occurs in our bodies. This also contributes to deeply hydrating the skin for a smoother appearance.
Week 3: Plumping
Apart from vegan collagen, the ampoules for week three also contain three peptides, niacinamide and plant stem cells from the alpine rose. Collagen makes the skin elastic and soft. Only a strong collagen structure can keep skin wrinkle-free for a long time. This protein is crucial for a youthful appearance.
Niacinamide (aka vitamin B3) helps to minimise the appearance of enlarged pores. This helps to even out skin tone, soften lines and restore a glow to dull skin. It has also been shown to help restore the skin's natural protection barrier to help reduce redness and irritation.
Week 4: Smoothing
Just like all products in the Biotulin range including the original Biotulin Supreme Skin Gel – made famous by Duchess Kate and Michelle Obama – the week four ampoules contain Spilanthol, Blady Grass Extract and vegan sodium hyaluronate (another form of hyaluronic acid). Spilanthol is a local anaesthetic, made from the extract of the plant Acmella Oleracea (paracress), which reduces muscle contraction and thus relaxes facial lines. Small wrinkles, especially on the forehead, around the eye area and between the eyebrows are reduced. Skin becomes visibly smoother.
