Step 1: Brew & Rejuvenate From The Inside Out

Begin each morning with a balancing and rejuvenating cup of KOSHO Byuti Organic Matcha Tea. Apart from being proven to naturally:

Matcha green tea has been proven to have the highest antioxidant rating of all superfoods. According to The ORAC test (Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity), which measures the antioxidant levels in foods, matcha green tea measures 1384 units per gram. For context, that’s:

13x the antioxidants of pomegranates,
15x the antioxidants of blueberries, and
125x that of spinach.

Furthermore, Matcha is very high in catechin antioxidants. Its most powerful catechin is epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), shown to reduce inflammation, fight free radicals, and prevent a whole range of chronic diseases.

Step 2: Cleanse & Balance

KOSHO Creamy Cleansing Mousse is a delight for the skin. Thanks to its plant-based surfactants, this feather light cleansing mousse cleanses skin thoroughly yet gently. Rosemary and poplar bud extracts balance skin prone to oiliness or dryness, as well as minimising the appearance of pores. Of course KOSHO Creamy Cleansing Mousse also includes KOSHO's unique, organic matcha extract for anti-ageing benefits.

Apply one pump of KOSHO Creamy Cleansing Mousse to moist skin. Gently massage and rinse off with lukewarm water. Pat dry with a clean towel.

1-2 times a week, apply a little of the KOSHO Multi-Effect Peeling gel onto cleansed, dry skin and massage gently with your finger tips, avoiding the area around the eyes.

(If you have sensitive skin: skip this step & rinse off directly) Moisten your face with some water and continue massaging while the peeling gel turns into a nurturing cream that indulges your skin with moisture while gently exfoliating.

Finally rinse your face with lukewarm water and gently pat dry with a clean towel.

Step 5: Spritz & Refresh

Now this step is by no means essential, however – like exfoliation – KOSHO Smart Matcha Face Spray will help you get the best results from your other skincare. The reason being, that skin-smoothing and -plumping skincare ingredients such as hyaluronic acid (as in the KOSHO Full Hydration Serum or even Biotulin Supreme Skin Gel), require moisture to draw into the skin. Therefore misting the face with KOSHO Smart Matcha Face Spray will ensure there is plenty of moisture to plumpen and smoothen skin. Think of your skin as a dry sponge vs a moist sponge. A dry sponge does not absorb moisture as well as a moist sponge. Similarly dry skin cannot absorb moisture and your skincare ingredients as well as moist skin.

Step 6: Smoothen, Plumpen & Brighten

The KOSHO Full Hydration Serum is the "hero" product of the KOSHO Matcha Effective Cosmetics, boasting the highest concentration of the unique, skin-rejuvenating matcha extract. Organic matcha extract protects against oxidative-stress, environmental factors and ageing. Four types of hyaluronic acid provide deep skin hydration and plumping to different layers of the skin. Prickly Pear Extract replenishes and hydrates the skin, while Schisandra/ Magnolia Berry Extract reduces redness for a more even skin tone.

A thin layer of KOSHO Full Hydration Serum should be gently massaged into cleansed/toned skin of the entire face and neck area, morning and evenings.

KOSHO Eye Lifting Serum nourishes and acts within the deeper layers of the skin. Plant extracts from red algae, paracress, and of course the unique, organic matcha immediately brighten the eye area for a fresher look, as well as having a threefold effect:

Step 8: Smoothen & Protect

A serum always requires a moisturiser over top. This is as the serum is formulated to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin, while a moisturiser remains in the top layers and is formulated to create a protective layer on the skin. Two creams are part of the KOSHO Matcha Effective skincare ritual: KOSHO Smart Protection Cream (day cream) and KOSHO Deep Regeneration Cream (night cream or for drier skin). Both feature the organic, skin-rejuvenating matcha extract, as well as Japanese Crocus Extract to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

KOSHO Smart Protection Cream does not use conventional (chemical or mineral) UV-filters, but a natural substance that is formed by bacteria in nature, called Ectoin. While the natural sun protection cannot be classified with the usual sun protection factors (SPF) it would be equivalent to approximately SPF15. The unique, organic matcha extract also naturally protects skin from UV- and light-induced skin ageing. Japanese Crocus Extract strengthens the skin, restoring its natural protection barrier.
